As an IBCLC Lactation Consultant, I’ve supporting over 2000 families with feeding in London since 2015. Over the years, I’ve provided assistance on a huge variety of feeding challenges. I can provide support for breastfeeding, mixed feeding, formula feeding or exclusively pumping, and I will NEVER judge you on your feeding choices
HOW IT WORKS:Struggling with feeding?
During a typical home consultation, I take a full clinical history, including the birth, debrief on your feeding journey so far and observe a feed. We can work to improve any latch issues and I can also weigh the baby, if necessary. I will also answer any questions you may have and formulate a plan for moving forward.
I have extensive experience with tongue tie and have previously supported the running of an NHS tongue tie clinic. I can examine the oral cavity and explore further support if we suspect a tongue tie.
I have specialist training on correct pump fitting and can support you to find your correct size.
Feeding journeys are often a work in progress, and my visit may not be an instant fix. I understand that these things take time. I offer ongoing practical and emotional support for up to two weeks after my visit at no extra cost. Together, we’ll formulate a plan for moving forward.
